    I also think Jim Carrey in "Once Bitten" was a better vampire.

    small voice..Spike annoyed me terribly by Season 7. I liked him when he first came on the show, but by the end, I felt like he'd eaten the show and I wanted him on the first plane to Whothehellcareaslongasitsnotherestan.... Judging from the posts here, I guessing this is an unpopular sentiment.

    I call bullshit on this:


    "the erotics of anticipation," controlled passion and the "deferral of any type of sexual consummation."


    I mean, because that is what women are into? Jesus, where is my chastity belt?


    I see it more as our own fears about our vulnerability during sex, and yeah I guess it is the virgin's fears about what will happen once she loses it... but this waiting-to-do-it business of Twilight does not interest me. Yet I am kind of into vampires.

    I would just like to use this opportunity to say that I think it's total bullshit that Twilight is the movie that will forever be attached to the honor of having been the top debut for a female director. I mean, I'm sure that Ms. Hardwicke is a fantastic realisateur, but Twilight, seriously?


    Also, I would like to nominate Elijah Wood in Paris, Je T'aime as most non-threatening vampire.
