<![CDATA[Crows And Bacon And DJ Lance Rock, Oh My! A Roundup Of Celebrity Halloween Costumes]]> Celebrities, both with and without their children, were out in full force last night, showing off their fancy pants Halloween costumes to the world. Ahead, a roundup of the most notable costumes of the night.

Kelly Osbourne and Luke Worrell as Bacon and Eggs: Yes, I know this combo costume has been done to death, but these two are so cute that it totally works. They look warm and happy. And how fun is Kelly's bow?

The Stefani-Rossdale Crew Gwen and the boys, Zuma and Kingston, look adorable, but Gavin totally blows it by not bothering to wear a costume. Unless, of course, he's one of those people who says things like, "I'm Captain Holey Jeans," to explain his lack of Halloween gear. But still. Come on, dude.

Brooke Shields: Her daughters are clearly an angel (or a butterfly?) and a mermaid, but I'm not sure what Brooke is dressed as. Any guesses?

The Pitt-Jolie Crew: I'm not sure what Angelina is dressed as, but Brad is clearly dressed as DJ Lance Rock from Yo Gabba Gabba, which is beyond awesome.

LaToya Jackson: I'll admit that I'm not quite sure what LaToya Jackson is supposed to be, but she did spend her Halloween night raising money for "AIDS Project LA" by posing with impersonators of her late brother, Michael, which is simultaneously sweet and creepy, though I guess the fact that it was all for a good cause moves it more into the sweet column.

Heidi Klum Heidi, who is somewhat known for her love of elaborate Halloween costumes, ended up going as "a black crow," as did her husband, Seal.

Christina Aguilera and her son, Max, wore matching skeleton suits. Very cute!

Christina Ricci and her boyfriend, Curtis Buchanan, did the mime thing, and quite well.

Paul Rudd and his son, Jack, apparently went as adorable for Halloween.

James Gandolfini, meanwhile, put on his best Homer Simpson disguise.

Ice-T and Coco Coco decided to go devilish...

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon while Mariah and Nick decided to be angelic.

Gene Simmons And finally, Gene Simmons went as, well, Gene Simmons.

<![CDATA[Project Runway: Christina Aguilera Wants Diamonds On Her Crotch]]> That's right, diamonds!

Christina Aguilera doesn't want to go to "that cavewoman place." She wants carats on her coochie, dammit!

But let's back up:

First, Christopher has to do his hair.

Okay so Bob Mackie, the "sultan of sequins," and Tim Gunn told the designers they had $300 and two days to create and "extravagant stage look" for Christina Aguilera.

Gordana was kind of stressed out, because her dress was falling apart as she made it. The perils of beading!

New mantra: "I just have to be Speedy Gonzales."

Christopher was working on some Lady Marmalade wackness and buttoned-up Tim Gunn had to tell him, "It should be super sexy slut." Dude. If Tim Gunn doesn't think your outfit is slutty enough, you are in trouble.

Tim thought that Shrin's dress looked like "Guinevere meets Vampira." Shirin was all, "You don't like anything about it?!?!" Tim said: "No." Uh-oh!

Meanwhile, Gordana was putting an old-world hex on her garment.

BREAKING: Irina is a bitch, according to the bitchiest person on the show.

My favorite erroneous statement of the episode: "A bustier and sparkle panties — you can't ask for anything more."

Do you see what I see?

Do you? (Click here if you don't know why this is noteworthy!)

Highlights of the runway:

Everyone liked Althea's gorgeous, hourglass-enhancing gown.

Nicolas' Ice Capades number was the one I thought Xtina would chose. Crotch-centric!

But Carol Hannah won the challenge, with an inky feathered and sequined black gown.

Christopher's outfit wasn't even as good as Lady Marmalade.

Besides, Christina wore a bikini bottom in that video — Mya rocked the boyshorts.

Alas, no one liked Shirin's scary witch costume. Shirin was Auf'd.

Any last words, Nina?

<![CDATA[Powerful Glamour At Power Of Women Luncheon]]> Variety's 1st Annual Power of Women Luncheon at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel brought out plenty of dashing dames: Anne Hathaway, Christinas Aguilera and Applegate, January Jones, Jamie Lee Curtis, and...Terrence Howard?

January Jones' curious LBD borders on the "backwards" - but she looks amazing!

I'm not sure what trend in trousers Jane Lynch is demonstrating. In fact, I'm not sure it's a trend at all.

Jane Kaczmarek's palm beachy situation screams "luncheon." Take that as you will.

Maria Bello's white-suit-sandals combo is a tad "beach wedding" for my tastes, but one can't deny her insouciance.

I adore Shannyn Sossamon's Miss Mix-worthy openwork waist and skirt. And anyone who knows what I'm referring to, I officially call my sister.

Jamie Lee Curtis does simple, classic, sexy, as she does so well.

Silk charmeuse, as Wendy Davis demonstrates, is apparently the new LBD. Except that it's not basic. Or especially versatile. People just wear it constantly.

Gotta give Anne Hathaway this: when the girl's on, she's really on. Plus she can wear saffron, which is quite a trick.

I guess having said that, I need to give Sherry Lansing props for sporting an entire field of pumpkin. Well, points for...boldness, certainly. She said kindly.

Camryn Manheim's loose-fitting horizontals are not what anyone would call flattering, and are what some would call frumpy, but a natural red-carpet smile earns major points.

Christina Aguilera takes the basic out of "little black dress" even as she emphasizes the "little."

After a bizarre Emmy showing, Olivia Wilde goes safely demure.

AnnaLynne McCord rides the metallic train - and it's kinda disco-fab.

This retro-pretty day dress is an amazing look for Christina Applegate.

Seriously, what would a "Power of Women" event be without noted women's advocate Terrence Howard in a pair of clashing shoes?

I do however remain a fan of new music, so this is not some selfish crusade. The days of me making money from recording music has been and gone as far as I'm concerned, so I don't (at this point) stand to profit from legislation… If you can't sell your music, you can't go on. Christina says: "WFP urgently needs donations to keep feeding some 150,000 women and undernourished children – I want to raise awareness and open people's eyes so they can get the funds they need to keep on working… One of the biggest lessons I'm taking away from this trip is the importance of healthy food. Whoopi Goldberg didn't like that, and says: "Patrick did everything and went everywhere to try and stay healthy as long as he could. Now Suzanne says: "In a casual conversation at a private party (with someone who never identified himself as a reporter) at the Toronto Film Festival last week, I was asked about this beloved actor. It was never my intention to make an official statement about his passing. I was not informed or aware I was being interviewed. Other times, she slipped into silly moods, forcing us to do scenes over and over again when she'd start laughing. I was on overdrive for the whole shoot - staying up all night to do rewrites, squeezing in dance rehearsals, shooting various scenes - and was exhausted a lot of the time. I didn't have a whole lot of patience for doing multiple retakes. It was horrifyingly, hypothermically cold in that lake, and we filmed that scene over and over. And despite the fact that Jennifer was very light, when you're lifting someone in water, even the skinniest little girl can feel like 500 pounds." — Memories of making Dirty Dancing, from Patrick Swayze's memoir. <![CDATA["Feminist" Vandal Defaces Berlin]]> A subway poster in Berlin featuring Britney Spears, Leona Lewis and Christina Aguilera has been altered in a strange and interesting way: it has been defaced to mimic an open Photoshop window.

The creative vandal placed stickers around the blown-up — and undoubtedly Photoshopped — faces of the three celebrities to mimic toolbars from the application. Carla at Feministe has picked up on the possibly feminist implications of the vandalism, but she also concedes that the posters could be a more general statement about the advertising industry. However, even if this wasn’t the artist’s intention, the posters serve as springboard for discussions about the ubiquity of Photoshop and the impossible standards it perpetuates for women. They give us a much-needed reminder that what we see is hardly ever real, and that "perfection" can only be attained through computerized tweaking. As one of stickers on Britney’s poster reads, “don’t forget…” [Feministe, Flickr]
