    This is excellent news. She is a tough-minded yet open reporter, and is not very prone to hyperbole (yes, I'm looking at you Lou Dobbs). She might actually restore the reputation of CNN.

    Really happy for her, as she is awesome. But, I hope she is still able to find time to produce the amazing specials she does, and also that she continues to report from war zones, as her reporting from those places is invaluable.

    So, Lucy Liu, what's the point of painting under a pseudonym (which I didn't even know applied to painters; I thought it was just authors, but I accept being misinformed about that) and then letting Page Six inform everyone WHO YOU ARE? It's like Clark Kent getting sick of getting kicked around at the Daily Planet, so when he just morphs into Superman in front of Lois and Jimmy and everyone else, and is like, OK, ARE YOU IMPRESSED YET??

    It benefits Chris Brown.
    Rihanna is probably dealing with the 'shame' of having everyone know about this, but it doesn't benefit her to have this 'go away quickly'.

    @whatsergem: Tommy Davidson from In Living Color was on one of the local news shows here this morning and they interviewed him in their entertainment section right after covering the Chris Brown court appearance and Tommy was like "Hey, you guys forgot to say allegedly. He ALLEGEDLY did those things."

    I'm totally behind empowerment where people, not just women, rescue themself. However, Rihanna in this moment is very much the victim (in a Victim - Perpetrator - Rescuer model. She needs to be there to heal herself, but seriously, she needs a Rescuer, because right now it seems like the people looking after her interests are falling into Perpetrator roles. Mr Lawyer, I'm looking at you.


    The skill of the Perpretrator also lies in making themself the authority in the victim's life, and with rihanna cut off from her family, it seems classic.


    So imo, a Rescuer needs to step in to intervene, even in a small small tiny way, just so she hears another voice during a crisis.
