    Little Drummer Boy is far and away my favorite Christmas song, and that RuPaul video is the best thing to happen to my month. Thanks guys!

    I never knew it was the Wilson's singing that horrific "Hey Santa". I love cheesy Christmas music, like, to the point of it being annoying for my family members. But even I hate that song.

    @labeled: I searched an searched for a Mariah Christmas video, but all I could find was the video for "All I Want For Christmas Is You," which is actually shockingly classy for a Christmas video.

    Also convinced that I've seen Mariah in a Sexy Santa getup... but it's entirely possible that was just a random Tuesday in Winter outfit for her. (Don't get me wrong, I actually kind of love her.)

    @labeled: "All I Want for Christmas is You" may be the best Mariah song of all time, IMO. Lots of frolicing in snow and sitting on Santa's lap. I would link, but no YouTube at work.

    When I think of cheesy, awful christmas songs/videos, Madonna's cover of Santa Baby immediately comes to mind. That insane baby voice she uses, that is made of cheese. And not good cheese, but the Velveeta variety.

    Wait, is there a video for this? For some reason I thought there was, and now I feel foolish for piping up when the post is about cheesy videos, not just cheesy christmas tunes.

    Also, Christmas in Hollis rules.

    @I, Zombie Normal: Funny story about Santa, Baby. My mom hated it because Santa is married.

    She also hated "I saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus" for the infidelity. Yes, I had to explain to my mother that Santa Claus is just Dad.

    The clip from "Mean Girls" where the Plastics are dancing in the talent show wearing "sexy Santa" outfits should get its due props. Love that scene.

    If wanting to live with your Grandmother instead were the only issue, a court ordered loss of custody wouldn't be necessary. I'm suspecting Frances is tired of caretake/parenting her mother and finally old enough to push the situation. As someone who has been there/done that I gotta confess that I've been keeping an empathetic eye on Frances for years.
