    Nibble the stem beforehand so it curves more easily.


    When placing the stem on your tongue, discreetly twist it so it forms a loop- think the cancer ribbons magnets.


    You only need to get the knot end *just* through the loop. Then, when pulling the stem from your mouth, gently pull the other end with your teeth (lips closed) to tie the know tightly.

    Better

    1. Obtain one cherry stem, discretely tie it into a know with your hands.


    2. Tell friends/dude/girl that you are going to do this thing but first you need a drink


    3. Palm pre-tied stem while drinking into mouth (do not choke).


    4. Get new cherry, discretely remove stem, eat.


    5. Pretend you're tying


    6. Tada, now you've got it.

    I learned how to do this at 14, from one of my Dad's friend's hot ex-wife. I guess she thought it would be really fun to mess with my hormones.

    I can tie the stem around my tongue piercing, but then I have to go to the bathroom to see to untie it, so I'm not sure what that trick is worth.

    Since it is about to be a new year I shall finally confess that I have been faking this ability since I was 15. Here is the lazy method:


    1. Order a drink that comes with a cherry. Keep the stem
    2. Order a second drink that comes with a cherry. Keep the stem.
    3. Stealthily tie one stem into a knot with your fingers.
    4. Wait for an opportunity and announce that you have the power. Slip both stems into your mouth (once again, stealthily) with your tongue push the untied one to the side.
    5. Pretend to be tying it for a little while and then sexily remove the tied stem.
    6. At a later time pretend to wipe your mouth and spit the other cherry stem into your napkin.

    Megan, I am more impressed that you were able to verbally articulate a complicated physical manuever. Did you ever have to do that writing exercise of explaining in detail how to peel a banana? This looks much harder.
