Holy shit. I hadn't seen that fight between Lydia and Michele. Honestly, Lydia is the worst kind of person. SUCH a hypocrite. Calls Russell a misogynist right after she calls Michele an "ugly motherfucking tranny bitch." Who's the "bigger woman"? What the fuck? Nice one.
I think it goes without saying that BB needs to have some stricter psychological testing in future seasons.
Lydia, Chima and Natalie all need to get the hell of out of the house. They whine and whine about being independent women, but they all had no problems getting Jessie's semen all over them, and in turn, ruining their games.
That black and white R.I.P. Never Forget photo of Chima is slaying me.
This is sad though. We watch people self-destruct for our entertainment (well, I don't watch this, but you get the point).
I'm torn here. Was Chima like this before she was brutally raped and almost killed? Or is she like this because of that? Honestly, I have to give her a huge pass for her otherwise ridiculous behavior. I've had trauma and horrible things happen to me (bad childhood stuff), but nothing that amounts to being brutally raped by a serial killer. I just don't think I can judge her actions when it's amazing she's living her life despite what happened to her.
That being said, putting her past aside and pretending that we know nothing about it, her behavior was really terrible. She acted like a spoiled brat and really took the game as personally as she could. When Jeff used the coup d'etat, she accused him of being shady and a liar, but they all KNEW that whoever had the power was NOT allowed to tell anyone they had it. She knew that. She just wanted to pitch a fit because she couldn't get Russell out.
But what remains is that she may not have been the most emotionally stable contestant.
@JinxyMcDeath: Are you insinuating that Big Brother might not choose contestants who are entirely emotionally stable and might act out in bizarre ways that make for voyeuristic entertainment value?
I am shocked and appalled at this comment! Next you'll be telling me that reality TV producers provide alcohol just so the cast members get drunk!
@JinxyMcDeath: @JinxyMcDeath: Erg. I really don't know. I have a hard time giving her a free pass to treat people like that, no matter what her past. I think that specifically is difficult for me, though, because while I am not a victim I was raised by one. She has been through something I can't even imagine, and I really wish that no one ever has to experience anything remotely similar. She deserves some sympathy and support, yes. But not carte blanche to be a douche. There comes a time when I feel like a person has to try to be a decent human being, even if they can only manage to do it with the broken fragments of their former self. That's what society and community is all about. ... and then there's your suggestion that maybe she just IS this way.
That said, I am really disgusted at the producers for taking her on. How could they not realize that after her experiences, the very nature of the show meant she was a terrifically bad candidate?
Chima really came off as a hypocrite with her remarks about Russell, especially after her big production during the first live eviction about Brayden's racist comments about Kevin. So I'm not really sad to see her go.
It boggles my mind that people can be so casual about hateful/racist remarks towards Arabs/Persians/Muslims/anybody who looks like they might be one of those. Fuck that noise, Chima.
I know she is a survivor of a pretty horrific crime, but she was just a little too much for me. It was awesome to see her little house of cards crumble, and I can't wait to see if they show what really happened that got her removed from the show.
Chima's hate of Russell came after he turned her advances down.
Chima became enraged after her game play was overthrown by Jeff's Cootie Taw. Then Michelle nominated her. Once she knew she was beat...she wanted out of the house any way possible. Good Riddance!
