    Full frontal nudity, that is ok. Smoking, no way. I really do believe that France has it's priorities straight. I am not being facetious. I really believe that accepting nakedness like nothing but banning glorification of something that is slowly killing many of your citizens is awesome. Go France.

    I've got to say, as far as glorifying smoking goes, this movie is going to be the absolute worst. 'She's feisty, fashionable and independent!' It's like an ad for Virginia Slims, or really any 'slim' cigarette (just like you can be, ladies, if you smoke instead of eat).


    Print ads be damned. I don't think they do that much to people 18+. But movies, having cigarettes = hotness or nonconformity? Pretty damn influential.

    I wish they would ban film posters with stars posing with guns. I find that far more distasteful than some French dame smoking in her pyjamas. Although the latter reminds me of a skull head ashtray someone had when I was a child , emblazoned with the motto: Poor old Fred, smoked in bed.

    I, for one, am glad that the first poster was banned. Not due to the smoking, but I would be pissed if I had to take the metro to work, and saw a poster of Audrey Tautou looking comfortable lounging in pajamas on her bed. I would probably never go to work again.
