@heykoukla: Archie Leach was who he considered himself to really be. His accent, his style, these things were extremely calculated on his behalf, as a means of protecting himself in a way by creating a facade to hide the incredibly strange and often quite heartbreaking childhood he had. He played the character of Cary Grant for his entire life.

"I have spent the greater part of my life fluctuating between Archie Leach and Cary Grant, unsure of each, suspecting each."

I love him and am a bit fascinated by him.
