Uh, Estee, honey, muscles are NOT wrinkles. I know they can look similar, but maybe you need to tone down your product a little if it's actually dissolving away tissue!
The top (left) part of her halter is basically just painted on, and they forgot to at least paint some wrinkles in so that it looks like fabric, instead of just a solid black shape. The right side at least has some texture to it.
What's most disconcerting is not the missing trapezius--I mean, her right shoulder is so shaded by a large, dark shadow formed by her hair that your eyes might not even "read" that the trapezius isn't there. Now, the fact that her shoulder lies entirely wrong and her right humerus seems stunted are another story, but that's not what disturbs me most.
It's the wide, smooth, vast expanse of smooth, utterly boneless chest skin. You can see that the muscles in her neck gracefully point down into a nice "v", but there's nothing at all to anchor them on.
Now, some people don't have visible clavicles, which is fine, but this is a very trim, very fit model. And if you look at her left shoulder, you can see where her collarbones are anchored to the ligaments/structures on top of her shoulder. This is normal. But then the line of the clavicle runs under the strap of the dress and VANISHES.
Ms. Murphy, please run away from that horrible, ravenous, body-part-eating dress! I fear for your safety! Run away now while you still have most of your limbs!
@tscheese: Not only that, but they put a highlight where the breastbone would normally catch the light and it stays perfectly centered with the dress. That is one serious deformity, to have a ribcage that bends with one's clothing.
when you lay like that one trapezius is stretched and the other is relaxed.... so i don't think it looks that odd... her hair and shadow cover her shoulder... and you can see her dress strap lays and ties in the correct place.
@KentuckyBabe: In all fairness, the boob situation is actually sort of real. That happens when you lie on you side and are small-chested (like me): the upper boob looks full (because of gravity) and the other boob disappears into the floor.
@KentuckyBabe: It looks as though they cut off both shoulders following the line of the dress and rearranged them however they saw fit, then airbrushed the hell out of her chest. Her right arm was moved inward and the shoulder removed, and her left shoulder and arm seem to have been made smaller and then pasted on higher up on the body.
Also, look at the strap closely- it is actually going through her neck on the left side.
Well, I mean, trapeziuseses are really unsightly, especially on an amazingly beautiful woman like Ms. Murphy. So I mean, I can see why they photoshopped it out.
And those uppity clavicles! God, I'm SO glad she doesn't have clavicles anymore after using Estee Lauder products. She probably doesn't want any kind of supporting structure between her scapula and upper arm to allow maximum range of movement--I mean, that shit is SO last season.
New from Estee Lauder: Estee Longer Professional Regenerist Intensive Wrinkol Wonder Serum for Neck with Pro-XYZ Cashgeneratorist Technology! See a definite possible 99% elongation of the neck in 4-56 weeks under laboratory impossible conditions. Because you have money to spend, so you're worth it.
Oh, are you bodysnarking? Just because Carolyn Murphy seems to be anatomically incorrect? Maybe she likes having just one trapezius! Maybe her clavicle is so special that it doesn't need a damn trapezius!
Really Jezebel, I expected so much more from you...
