You know, I want to respect Dr. Drew for the actual work he's doing, getting people sober. He's an actual, working doctor, not just for teevee, and fully licensed (I'm looking at you, "Dr." Phil). But then he opens his mouth, and all of this fame-whoring stuff pours out, speculating about the health of someone (I'm presuming) he's never treated. YOU ARE MAKING ME CONFLICTED. Just become an all-out fameball and get it over with, stupid.
Chris Martin says he's not going to record a solo album, and that he gets song ideas from "some word [that] sends your mind going," such as "falafel."
This quote explains so much about Coldplay. I bet their first album was inspired by the word "beige" and the next by "oatmeal" or "weak tepid tea", amirite?
@mwynn13: hahaha I was trying to figure out where he was getting that. Last I checked drugs didn't typically lead to loss of limb, unless diabetes counts as a drug.
Heh. I grew up in Tehachapi, which also revels in the honor of being the location of California's largest state prison. It's also close to Bakersfield. For half a second, I thought Phil Spector and my parents would be neighbors.
Growing up in a prison town messes with your head.
@la.donna.pietra: My high school was built on the grounds of an old prison. We had some grounds fenced off cos they tested too high for chemicals from the license plates the inmates used to make. Gah!
Jon Gosselin and George Clooney should compare notes ... on their obsession with younger women. I don't imagine they have much more in common that that.
@save jinger: Ha! They send Charlie to the attic to find something, he never comes down, and then years later he just shows back up in a scene with no explanation, and played by a different actor.
@Casquivana: I read at least a year ago that Claire was always intended to return in the final season. I thought we'd see more of Charlie this season, too, and that rather than Jacob giving Hurley the guitar case, I thought it would've been Ghost!Charlie telling Hurley to go find it and take it with him on the flight. Charlie, and especially Charlie and Desmond together, was my fave before he was killed off, so I hope the rumor's true!
I think Lily Allen's right. The shock of Susan Boyle was that this awkward looking and acting woman could sing as well as she did. Boyle doesn't have a GREAT voice; she has a pleasant voice.
However, I hardly think that someone of Ms. Allen's level of talent, is in the position to be slagging anyone.

I love that Lost can do that! It's like a nighttime, sci-fi soap opera.
