kid rock and that "real househusband from new jersey" should both die. maybe we can lock them in a tanning bed and the ultraviolet rays can destroy them. would that be a "gay" way to go?
Here's an idea for a K-Fed weight-loss show...just put him on Dancing with the Stars. That way we wouldn't have to watch twelve whole episodes about just him. Plus, he's a former dancer! He'd have to learn some new moves, but the pounds would come off and it would be a nice little comeback for him. Win-win!
Ooh, I love Christopher Buckley's books, and "Florence of Arabia" is one of my favorites! (That and "Boomtown"). And, actually, I agree with the casting of Charlize - I can see her in that role.
Other "Days Without" I would like to see:
A Day Without Katy Perry
A Day Without Joe Jackson
A Day Without Kardashians
A Day Without Twilight (although I'm not sure how that would be possible, you know, with sunset and all)
and, of course, A Day Without Ugly Talk About Lindsay Lohan
I love Kim Cattrall. I find her a real inspiration to us ladies d’un âge certain. In addition she is a fine stage actress as witnessed by her role in the West End play "Whose life is it anyway?" I applaud her sentiments regarding plastic surgery. It rarely fools people into thinking that you look younger. A youthful spirit is far more attractive and in view of the horrors that can result at the hands of even the most experienced plastic surgeon, it is one option I will happily resist too.
"Florence of Arabia"? Really? Thats just an awful for something that is based on a satire but concerns a pretty heavy and painfully relevant plotline. YUCK.
@ThaLza: Wait, is it the title you're objecting to? Because that's what Christopher Buckley titled the book, and when you read it, it makes sense why. And as you noted, it is satire.
Dear Mr. Manson,
The freedom of speech has allowed you and your band to exist and make an obscene amount of money and acquire a vast amount of fame. In countries without the freedom of speech, a band with your level of controversy would not be allowed to exist. Perhaps you shouldn't be so cavalier about rights and freedoms in light of this.
Hearts and Stars,
Bunsen Honeydew
P.S. - Getting pissed at people for not saying things to your face is very 6th grade girl. Especially when you formulate a specifically unconventional and controversial image. Sorry, not everyone will like you. It happens. Not everyone liked the Bee Gees either. No need to threaten, I'd say this in person as well. Don't cry too hard.
@missy75: That's not actually unique to Michigan...people say that all over the country, but it's offensive nonetheless to gay people since it compares things that are "dorky, and not cool", to gay people.
(And please don't kid yourself that the expression is linked to the dictionary definition of gay as "happy".
