    @LouisiAnna: She employed him for years, and yeah, they seemed very close. Thing is, I'm sure that a lot of what he wrote in his book was true, but he seemed to put up with it all as long as she was paying his wages.

    My husband and I did a Matt Damon Media Tour last night, after getting into a Matt Damon discussion when we heard part of his interview on Fresh Air. Tragically, Mr. Yahtzii had never seen "I'm Fucking Matt Damon," which we rectified. Also included were his snub by Jimmy Kimmel and his Matthew McConaughey impression. We rounded it out with the Team America "MATT DAMON!"

    The delightful comments from him have just solidified my impression that Matt Damon is awesome in any form: big, small, radio, TV, movie, or puppet.

    Lindsay and Ali Lohan are on "Star Magazine" (or one of those) and the story talks about what a bad influence Lindsay is by introducing Ali to drugs, club life, and plastic surgery. Unfortunately, I believe it. I remember when a 14-year-old (!) Ali talked about how badly she wanted to be famous just like her sister. This was after Lindsay had been arrested and went to rehab. That girl seems doomed b/c of bad parenting and horrible role models. Who would think that Lindsay's life is a success other than a misguided 14-year-old? So sad.

    @o-line: I'm not sure. cutting is a serious problem, yes, but it became almost trendy a few years ago, when all the girls who were in the emo subculture were giving themselves shallow cuts, not out of depression, but out of weird self-expression.

    @KATE!: Well, I didn't know any girls who wore the jelly bracelets or went to rainbow parties, but its cute-- and incorrect-- that you're assuming i'm talking from media reports instead of actual girls I knew in highschool. I guess you're used to basing things in rumors, but you have to remember that some of us talk about things we've actually witnessed.

    I'm sorry if I misunderstood your sweeping generalization. I didn't realize that you actually went to high school with ALL of the girls in the emo "sub"culture, but it's cute--and incorrect--that you're assuming that the actions of a sample of girls you happen to know are indicative of a culture at large. Isn't that how these moral panics--such as jelly bracelets and rainbow parties--usually begin?

    The show on which Katie Price apparently named her alleged rapist on camera must be having kittens. In the past, they notoriously but accidentally identified the alleged rapist of another celebrity, Ulrika Johnsson live on air. Even if it was not broadcast in this instance, if people in the studio heard Katie Price, how on earth do you contain it in these days of the internet?

    @Plum-Pie: I suspect all the friends and partners of the studio crews will be begging them to tell and THEIR friends in turn will be pressurising them to reveal all. The crew work in the media so they they will have a better idea of most how to sell the story without living a trial that opens thm up to prosecution.

    @Rare Affinity: She didn't reveal the name on The Wright Stuff, she revealed it to the crew of her own TV show. But Matthew Wright was very visibly nervous when she called in, he was obviously worried about a repeat of the Ulrika saga.Anyway, your point is right - there is no way it was going to remain a secret, and the Mirror have spoken to the anonymous, alleged rapist today, who has denied the allegations.

    @gherkinfiend: Ugh, it was excruciating. Hardeep Singh-Kohli gave her a chance to gain some sympathy by asking her how she dealt with the aftermath of the rape, and instead she says "Oh, it was worse the first time it happened when I was younger..." and brushes it off. Forget about perhaps helping other victims of rape by speaking out about her experience, or turning it into a serious discussion about rape, for Katie it's just all about the publicity.

    @heykoukla: I missed some of what she was saying because I was so busy yelling at the screen.

    She was rude and dismssive to Hardeep Singh-Kohli and it was shockingly apparent that she was all about the publicity.

    I wonder if police and rape crisis groups will see a 'Jordan effect' in women being scared to come forward for fear of being branded attention seekers? I can't imagine her behaviour has helped the cause in a country with a 6% conviction rate.

    @Sputnik_Sweetheart: But she HAS named him and on camera in front of a studio crew. In Ulrika's case, the hints she gave in her autobiography enabled the press to narrow down the list of potential suspects. Hence the unintended identification on the same show.

    @LaComtesse: I agree with those who say that it's youngish for a granny, but not THAT unheard of. I work with plenty of young parents, and am at the age myself where my friends who became parents in high school now have kids who could possibly make them grandparents, if they followed in their parent's footsteps.

    Let's just leave it at "she's pretty FABULOUS make-believe-vampire-granny", whatever her age.
