    I'm not sure if this has been posted yet, but if you prefer the old "look" of the GBU threads, there's a quick trick you can try.


    Check the URL up top. It probably looks like this:

    Just go up, remove the "gallery" from the URL, so it looks like this:

    a lot of people in these photos look too shiny and their hair looks too weird. i agree with the helena christensen comments - she is a completely stunning woman who ran through the oompa loompa machine or something.


    i love rose mcgowan's outfit, but the angle of the picture is what is confusing...well, that and the always-constant 'does-her-face-look-different-or-is-it-j... thought that goes through my head when i see pictures of her.

    I hope that Helena Christensen just returned from a fantastic vacation in a sunny and warm place. Because if that is a spray tan that she did to herself, I will be very disappointed. Know when to draw the line, celebs!

    I'm GLAD there wasn't any plaid being worn here. Burberry does actually have some very nice couture-y things, if, that is, you have elebentybillion dollars at your disposal. If not, plaid stuff's all you're gonna get. I think everyone looks good here. BUT! My beloved gaywife, Helena Christensen: please to be going lighter on the suntan. It's too much, darling.

    @remedymalahide: I had no knowledge this fact so I looked it up... and now, apparently, Burberry's discreetly hiding that pattern on their lower-end stuff.

    I wear brown Burberry glasses (they were the only frames that I liked) and there is a very subtle brown-on-tan check on the inside of the frames (the part against my face). I didn't even notice it until days later.

    @hippichx sez PEACE PLEASE: My friend, who studies fashion, says that Burberry is moving away from their more traditional looks. Partly because of knock-offs.


    Then again, she may have been lying to me. I can be quite gullible.

    @hippichx sez PEACE PLEASE: I doubt all of these people are wearing Burberry, but either way my best friend easily identified all of these outfits on first glance and he works in fashion. I don't know whether to be proud or scared.

    @CraveRecords: The format has actually grown on me. I like that you can just click "next" and you don't have to scroll down. It does, however, take some of the pleasure out of the scroll-down fug.

    @CraveRecords: I like the old format because when someone comments on something I don't recall I used to be able to just scroll back up and see the photo they were talking about. I can't do that any more so it takes some of the fun out of G/B/U for me.
