OSCAR, YOU ARE MY FAVORITE DESIGNER AND YOU ALWAYS HAVE THE BEST TASTE NEVER CHANGE AND PLEASE ADOPT ME!!!!! **Desolves into spasmodic convulsions on the floor.
Well, he is one of those designers that never disappoints, IMO.
And #6 is absolutely gorgeous and very ethereal in a playful way. I would wear it all day long, skipping my way through a park and watching the trees. Yes, in my mind, I live in a French TV ad.
@Ailatan: I refuse to believe it is because the alternative would be that she has some of the most amazing hair-genes I have ever seen. And I refuse to accept that as a possibility. Though I have been wrong before, so who knows...
@LaFemme: I used to work with a Ukrainian woman and she told me that in Kiev there were robbers trying to get women's hair! It seems Ukrainian blonde hair is quite sought after.
I don't know that I'd call #3 work-appropriate unless I'm attending one of those gala fundraisers for my job... which is only twice a year. Do the rest of you get more galas than me? Because if so, I'm officially jealous.
@thebootyfaerie: I would probably throw a black tank under it to cover the boobs a bit, and lose the petticoat thing underneath so it laid a little flatter. Add a black jacket and it would probably be fine, though maybe a bit fashion-forward for my job. But appropriate enough.
I really like this collection. I have a few of her dresses from past seasons, and love them all. You can get a lot of her stuff on sale btw if you like this style- I have a dress or two from her in the 50-75 dollar range.
The only thing I don't love are all the pockets. I find sometimes when you don't have your hands shoved in the pockets they do weird things to the lines and kind of bunch around the hips.
@LaFemme: I have a couple of pieces that had pocket issues. Take them to a tailor, and see if she can sew the pockets shut. That may keep the line flat. She also may be able to remove the "pocket" part once they're sewed shut to remove bunching issues.
@una.perra.andaluza: I have gotten her things heavily discounted at the end of the season at Saks (and Saks Off Fifth) Lord &Taylor, and Bergdorfs. As with anything heavily discounted it can be hit or miss in terms of size or designs, but I have gotten some steals.
@deltabella: Yeah, I have definitely done this before. On some things pockets are ok, to me this is just a LOT of pockets, and considering how many women have issues it's a little surprising she chose to do so many.

I loved it until I hit the bottom. I hate the tea cozy like elastic hem.
