    I really wish that this was not the trend in women's music videos. I don't really see much dancing anymore, even. I would love to see some cool concept-type videos, ones with stories or interesting visualization. I feel like the majority of videos today focus on a silhouetted dancer on a light background, and then shots of "sexy" parts moving about.

    I know I sound like BLAR BLAR THE OLD DAYS, but I feel like there used to be a lot of more interesting videos when the technology was newer, and now it's kinda... look! Sexyface! Hair claw! Pushing hair on face! Butt wiggle! #britneyspears3video

    @hortense: Yeah, we have a radio station that carries heavier censors (top 40) and one that censors a little less (hip hop) and neither bleeps/manipulates the "sin" part. Would we rather have kids repeating the moan in the chorus instead of uttering the phrase "living in sin"? Huh?? #britneyspears3video

    I can't get over the ad for her perfume that comes on before the video. "He couldn't help himself" she says while some guy creepily stalks her in a forest. "He did something kinda crazy" as he shoots her (with and arrow that says everlasting love or some shit on it). They embrace. What the hell kind of message is this? #britneyspears3video

    @kctomorrow: When that commercial first came out, she was still with Kevin and there was a shot of 'BS + KF' carved into a tree. When they divorced, that shot disappeared from the commerical. Anyway, I think the hunter was supposed to be Kevin and the commercial was supposed to be all about their "crazy" wonderful love.

    I agree that it's creepy. #britneyspears3video

    @kctomorrow: Yes! And it implies that if a guy uses a little violence to coerce a woman into liking him, that's totally cool since they'll just live happily ever after. Also the aside about her world tour makes it sound as though she had to choose between her career and the guy. Thank god the magic arrow chose for her! If she had to actually think about it and make her own decision, that just would not have been cool. #britneyspears3video

    @Maggita: Exactly. Commercials so often use the "mysterious stranger" as if being stalked by some unknown guy in the woods is oh so sexy. Also shooting a woman in order for her to fall in love with you and won't go on her "world tour". Its outrageous that people spent time and money producing this and at no point said "oh hey this is a totally innapropriate message to send to people, nevertheless to the group of people interested in such products (ie younger women)" #britneyspears3video

    Side Note: I'll pass on watching the full thing today, as I'm sure I'll have to watch this at every house party I go to until the end of the year. Being subject to Brittney Spears, ad nauseam, is the only thing that sucks about the gay community, in my opinion.

    So I guess we can expect every other video from her will start with a cameo on one of her fragrances?

    Also, someone should let her know that even though nobody thinks she's really singing in the video, at least don't over-pronounce your words so much that it would be physicially impossible for you to be singing. #britneyspears3video
