1- I cannot stop giggling when I picture Wolf Blitzer interviewing Shakira. I don't know why.
2- I will never complain about my personal mother/daughter dynamic after reading about Courtney and Frances.
3- I am scared by the very notion of another Ghostbusters movie. A big chunk of the second one was shot at my dad's building at Columbia in NYC (I think I was 7 years old) and I refused to visit him at his office for a year out of a terror that ghosts would attack me.
Courtney, I'm sure that by now even YOU have heard of the internet and it's everlasting and public qualities. If you have private thoughts that you wish to keep private, don't post them to the internet.
@theysaidwhat: Yeah, I don't understand what she's suing Perez for-- didn't he just reprint a Facebook post of hers?
I'm going to highly doubt that she sent Perez a private message on Facebook, so the only other option is that he reprinted something from her wall. Even if she has that set to Friends Only, and one of those gave PH access to her Wall, I'm still not too sympathetic. Don't want something publicized? Then don't tweet or post it on Facebook.
@formergr: I am not a Facebook user because I do not trust it to be private.
But didn't Facebook recently change its privacy settings to more or less negate them?
I'm no Courtney Love fan, but she may have been caught up in the privacy change/mess. But still, don't EVER post anything this private to the internet! Or write it down, or leave a voice mail, etc. Nothing permanent, ever. Unless you want it to be permanent, and therefore public. This is why God made therapists...
With all the talk about "women's" films today, I recommend Young Victoria, which I saw last night at a preview screening. It isn't totally perfect (I was surprised Blunt got a Golden Globe) but it is an interesting look at a strong woman. I believe it opens Friday in the US.
@clevernamehere: ...well, it ain't no Elizabeth (as in Elizabeth 1 with Helen Mirren, not that piece of crap lovely Blanchett has the misfortune of attempting to carry)
@la.donna.pietra: I thought it was "I've got my Pride, I've got my Orange Crush"
oh the wonders of stipe's lyrics, you never knew what the hell he was saying or singing about, but it was still uniformly awesome
If Britney is dressing like this, then will hipsters continue to do so? What's the next hipster accessory? Ed Hardy shirts? The irony cycle has shortened so much that douchebag and ironic hipster is now the same thing.

And why am I so amused at the idea of Miss Piggy taking the tadpoles and splitting?

I'm going to go lay down.
