@itsonreserve: She has a masters in Communication. I don't know anything about biochem. She's not all that great of an on-air personality news-wise, but I can only applaud the fact that she parlayed her time at the mansion into something useful that can never be taken away. I do think she's basically a good-hearted person.
I love the Spencer bit, because even though we might poke fun at her Kohl's line and her being a "novelist" and her being a bit boring, Lauren is a normal, well-adjusted, private human being who is making a lot of money without leveraging her body or having to make inane reality show appearances any longer. If I recall correctly, she chose to leave The Hills; Kristin has floundered post-Laguna, and this is a backup since her "acting" career has stalled. And as I type this I realize how insane and useless all of this information is, how when I am seventy-five and living out on the farm and watching the great-grandkids I won't remember any of this and it will never have meant a thing to me, but yet I continue to type it, and to read about it even knowing it isn't substantive. I guess I'm just saying I'm happy for Lauren that she has escaped that world, and hope that the rumors of her having her own reality show are false, because her being boring and liking plain looking clothes and writing cheesy books makes her very likeable, and the antitheses of people who feel the need to use other's more prominent names to further their own publicity in the swamps that are their lives.
Spencer's obsession with Lauren Conrad is sad. He's constantly tweeting her. She doesn't even follow him and never responds. He's like a boy in grade school trying to get his crush's attention by being mean.
@onestrawplz: I don't feel sorry for Heidi one bit. Don't dance with the devil unless you are prepared to one day bear the searing pain of his cloven hoof up yer ass.
@LaurieStrodeTheBoatAshore: Point of order-- if I were at the bottom of the ocean, watching said dancing dolphin, wouldn't I be drowning? Cause this is just the kind of thing that would freak me out if I were high....
@TexasCrude: Not to mention it's pretty difficult to enjoy anything when you're at the bottom of the ocean, since you're probably already dead at that point and stuff.
@Phyllis Nefler: Whatevs that tweet totally sent me into a swirly whirly relaxed zen state, like taking a hit from a bong does... I like her brain... I would like to try it out for a while.

Seriously good for her. It is nice to see her branch out from the ditzy blonde act.
