    Wouldn't it have been easier to just yell down the hill at Uma or, if close enough, push her out of the way? At any rate, I doubt the van was "hurtling" if he could jump inside and take control. It was probably gently rolling.


    And, Mayim Bialik looks EXACTLY THE SAME.

    @rednrowdy: I doubt almost anyone here cares. But obviously scads of "real Americans" care very much about whether someone is gay or not. I buy speculation that is why Lambert didn't win. I completely buy that is why so many gay politicians are closeted. We have a long way to go to reach equality, and I applaud public figures who are vocally open as a way of working toward that day. Just another reason I love Wanda Sykes.

    @rednrowdy: Well, she hasn't really been acting since Blossom, has she? I believe she went on to get a PhD in Neuroscience or something of the like and is a full-time mom & scientist, which is not all that lucrative of a field...

    Rockabye Baby! does amazing covers of pop songs. Like beautiful instrumental versions of Bjork, Radiohead, and all the previously mentioned musicians. Check them out on i-tunes. Really, I bought some for myself. (My kids just listen to whatever my husband and I like. No annoying "kid music" in our house - though are a handful of awesome kid music.)

    I think Conan attracts a younger crowd compared to Leno so it'll be interesting to see how the ratings fall out.
    TV sucks so bad this time of year that if Leno was on at 10 now, I believe he'd sweep up.

    I understand Carla Bruni's frustrations. I am 2 inches taller than my boyfriend and I never wear anything but flats either. That's why I love her so much, you wouldn't believe the people comments make when you are taller than your boyfriend.

    @pinkyBella: I'm shorter than my boyfriend by about an inch or two, but I love my heels... so in public, I'm quite often taller.


    But! I've discovered that there are lots of guys shoes with small heels! Especially dress shoes and cowboy boots! And that helps some, when I want to wear heels.

    @heykoukla: Yes, but that's a common French term of endearment. The "little" part is the least weird aspect of it, "chou-chou" means "cabbage."
