bad girls. some people just suck and will find away to exploit a bad situation, no matter what it is.

when china's population dips because there are many less women having children, it's not going to be pretty for china or us with the way they own us. this whole plan was bad from the beginning and it;s only going to get worse.

@Gingerlime: I get what you mean, and sort of agree with you, but then I think about the flip side... this happens in India a lot.

Guys from Western countries (ie: mainly Canada and the States) will go to India, make all these demands on a bride's family, get married, and take off with the loot. It's unspeakably horrible for those women because not only are the families often financially crippled afterwards, but their reputations are tarnished as well.

@Gingerlime: I know. The grownup part of my brain understands that this is sad and complicated and whatever; but there's a more immediate and emotional part of me that just screams, "What the FUCK did you think was going to happen when all you wanted was boys?"

@LadyFabulous: I hear what you're saying, but I'm not sure you can really compare a situation with a privileged Western man taking advantage of a third world family with Chinese women rebelling against a culture that has historically valued them.

People are still trying to deny gay people the right to marry and here the straighties are taking advantage of their right to marry, disrespecting marriage, and being disgustingly selfish.
