    Well, HELL! If I'd had this deal last month for my mastectomy and reconstruction, I'd have a free implant with which I could play beanbag toss, or use as a wrist support for my mouse, or as a tiny pillow for car rides!

    My one implant and I feel cheated.

    PS, life with one fake and one real boob is HIL-AR-I-OUS. :)

    What is with the plastic surgery billboards? There was one on a very well traveled road near my town that said, "Why get's A's and B's when you can have C's or D's". That was one of the most offensive things I've ever seen so close to home, and I called that plastic surgery office every day and complained.

    @curiousgeorgiana: Not sure of the technicalities, but if it's anything like the market, the second item must be of equal or lesser value and the discount cannot be combined with any other offer. Plus it expires tomorrow.

    Nothing makes me laugh harder than the term "opposite marriage" that has been coined to describe male-female marriage. Only fanatical nutcases could come up with a term to make their objective, plain old ordinary "traditional" marriage, sound like something twisted and perverted. Against "opposite marriage" same-sex marriage sounds like the only sane and reasonable choice!

    The problem I see with a lot of fundamentalist christians is that they are unable to justify their ethical thought in any other way than through the Bible. The Bible is a very difficult text to seek for moral truths in. Theologians attempt to do it, but their attempts are almost always called into question by other interpreters.


    This Prejean person should probably start looking at some alternate avenues of ethical thought. Something that doesn't rely on interpretation, but instead relies on a cold, hard look at the world, hopefully through the lens of science, law and the ethical tradition.
