    There's nothing deficient about A cups. Mine are perfectly sufficient and beautiful. You couldn't pay me enough to get implants. I know, how dare I love my small boobs, right? Who do I think I am? I would love to see what he looks like, though.

    The story has so many holes in it. If she went to him as a plastic surgeon and they "fell in love" then I won't be so judgemental. Lots of doctors operate on their wives. I think most plastic surgeons do try to turn their patients into their own ideal. He just married her and for some reason (slow news day?) became a story. #plasticsurgery

    I have a friend who wants to be a cosmetic surgeon. He told me he knows he really likes a woman if he looks at her and can't think of any surgeries he would perform.

    @femme-bot: I almost went out with a med student who wants to be a plastic surgeon and he told me quite earnestly that he was never happy with girls because he wanted one with breasts that felt real and looked fake. He really felt this was a valid sexual dilemma. #plasticsurgery

    @Pantra: I'm going to get beaten up for this, but I think that plastic surgeons (particularly people becoming plastic surgeons now) shouldn't get any of the they-just-want-to-help-people benefit of the doubt that we generally give doctors. It's one thing if you went into the field when it was all about helping burn victims and correcting cleft palates (and maybe like 1 in 1000 still does), but now it's just a route to a lot of money making people feel bad about themselves and treating [mostly] women like life-sized Mr. Potato Heads instead of people.

    Any time I've ever met someone studying to become a plastic surgeon, they've been very open about the fact they're only choosing that field for the money (not any sense of purpose), and they normally have shitty attitudes about women like the guy you mentioned.

    Cue the "I come from a long line of Nobel-winning plastic surgeons" comments in 3, 2... #plasticsurgery
