I mean, hell, if you like pictures of cartoon dinosaurs in fancy swim trunks doing provocative dances on disco balls, and it completely gets your motor revving, please feel free to enjoy that if it spices up your life a little. It doesn't mean that anyone is actually going to try to hump a cartoon dinosaur on a disco ball. It's not my thing (I mean, dinosaurs are SOOOOO unsexy, haven't you heard?) but if it gets your juices flowing, feel free.
For most people, fantasies are just fantasies. They're personal and kind of private. As long as you're not breaking any laws or exploiting anyone, I think you can whack off to whatever you like. It doesn't mean that people are going to be like, "Oh man, my life will not be complete until I have sex with an egg-laying radioactive tentacle monster that is purple and has multipartite brains!" or "Oh my god, I cannot die happy until I find a nine-foot-tall centaur with blonde hair and multiple arms and orifices!" It's completely imaginary, and people can be aroused by imaginary things while REALIZING they're imaginary. It doesn't make them creepy or icky or disconnected from reality. It just means that they have fantasies.
If you don't like it, that's fine--I mean, the centaur thing is certainly not to my tastes. But I think people can find fiction to be very evocative while realizing that it's 100% imaginary.

Sure, this kind of fantasy might seem weird or perverted or whatever, but it's my guess that most people who have fictional fantasies like this one know that it's totally fantasy and fictional. It's a flight of imagination. They're not running off to try to have mad sex with a stallion or whatever because most people recognize that that is a terrible idea. (If they did, we'd hear about a lot more Darwin awards.)
It's a little weird to me because it's not my thing. No one has to think it's OMG!THE COOLEST THING EVER HORSECOCK LOL!111! But, eh, some folks are stretching their Photoshop muscles and some folks are getting fapping material. It's not to my taste, but I can't get too riled up about it.
