    Dr. Girlfriend. There's the whole brunette-with-a-higher-education thing that we have in common. Also, my boyfriend thinks that he's running the show, but I'm the one who actually calls the shots. Plus, I usually have to fix whatever it is that he's gotten himself into.

    Apparently, she is already a feminist icon! Also, it's just occured to me that Alan Moore always writes great female characters - Mina in The League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen, not to mention Promethea.

    I'm already Daria. I've been Daria since the character premiered on Beavis and Butthead. I wear glasses, have poufy hair, speak in a dead-pan gravel, confuse the crap out of my parents, and long for Trent.

    My friends in high school actually called me Daria. I took it as a compliment, but years later, have discovered it was snark.
