    I guess I shouldn't be surprised that poor Jessica Alba is stuck as "a spitfire." Wouldn't want to use a non-fiery descriptor for a Latina, otherwise how will we know that she's not white? #bonnietimmerman

    @lisas: Meh. She's only half plus she never identified with being Latina until recently (if even). In most of her movies they've passed her off as white which --barring her olive-toned skin color-- she does look like. #bonnietimmerman

    I don't know about nose jobs, but a lot of the stars up there have also lost/gained weight, which can considerably alter how your face looks. Seriously. Losing 10 pounds can, for some people, make you look very different. #bonnietimmerman

    For everyone speculating about nose jobs...there do appear to be a couple there, but beware of making that assumption based on photos where the person is still a teenager. As someone with a fairly large nose, I can tell you, my nose was the first thing on my face to grow during puberty, and it took years for the rest of my face to catch up. At 26 my nose looks smaller, less round, and more streamlined, than it did when I was 18 (even than it did when I was 21). If I were famous I'm sure people would assume I'd had a nose job. #bonnietimmerman

    Also, my nose is a lot different now, at 37, than it was at 18, or even 24. I've always had a big nose, but with age it's become a lot less bulbous. One MIGHT think I had a nose job, too. Alas, that is not the case. #bonnietimmerman

    @rckoala: I had a professor say in class, while discussing drawing and anatomy, that noses and ears continue to grow throughout our lifetime. Dr. Jezzies—is that true, or just urban myth? #bonnietimmerman

    @OneTwoPunch: The answer is "sort of". Your nose and your ears are both mainly made up of cartilage rather than muscle tissue, so as you get older, they start to sag. This gives them the appearance of growing larger.

    Halle Berry and Jennifer Connelly look the most different. I can't say if anyone has had a nosejob because my nose at 18 looks drastically different than my 34 year old nose. #bonnietimmerman

    I'm not convinced that Uma Thurman's had a nose job. This pic was around the same time she made Dangerous Liaisons and Adventures of Baron Munchhausen, and she does not look too different now to how she looked in those films.
    Also, she always looks different depending on the angle she's photographed- she can look conventionally beautiful in one photo, and unusual in another. #bonnietimmerman

    @heykoukla: Yeah, a big part of her aesthetic appeal is her unusual features. If she did have a nose job it was extremely subtle.

    @heykoukla: I think it should also be noted, that for a lot of people, their nose grows first...then their body catches up. This is especially true of early teens - 12 - 15 years old. Some might not have had nose jobs and rather, finally grew into their noses. #bonnietimmerman
