    I hope Tom and Gisele discussed kids before they married, because I seem to recall reading several interviews where she has said she wants 4-5 kids, which would rather clash with the "one is enough" statement there.

    "Michael Lohan plead not guilty yesterday to aggravated harassment on charges that he threatened to kill himself and his fiance when she tried to break up with him."


    Are the aggravated harassment charges because of the threats to them both or exclusively the threat to her? Can you charge people with harassment for threatening to kill themselves when you try to break up with them? Really curious. Not sure how I'd feel about it if it were the case but want to know if anyone does.

    @superconnected: In the UK at least, threatening to kill yourself, which I think is completely reprehensible, is entirely legal. Once you bring another person into it, then the trouble begins. He can face no legal problems for threatening to kill himself (again, just a UK perspective).

    Isn't it emotional blackmail either way though? If someone is like "if you break up with me, I"ll kill myself" you're not going to break up with them, and you're going to undergo some trauma. It's considered a form of emotional abuse.

She writes: "Have you ever loved somebody who drinks until their usually charming personality is usurped by a monster? Or discovered that someone you adore is throwing up after every meal?


    Oh honey, Chris isn't bulimic. That's just his body's natural response to your dinner conversation about the hottest trends in macrobiotic diets and Kabbalah. Also, I think calling yourself a "monster" is a bit harsh. Maybe just a slim troll.

    @sassyredhead: I "discovered" the show on DVD... I don't know why, but I just never noticed it the first season. I rented it on DVD for a "marathon" and really enjoyed it and watched it broadcast regularly after that.

    In fact, if they were smart, they'd syndicate it, like Two and a Half Men and King of Queens.

    That quote from Diaz is really timely for me, as I am nearing 30 I find that my biggest fear is that many people start with the "older mother" label if you have kids anytime after 35. Totally freaks me out.

    @Penny: Medically, a woman 35 and older is deemed of "advanced maternal age." My bff turned 35 in the middle of her pregnancy and she had the AMA designation slapped all over her file. BTW, the baby is now 2-months old and both mama and baby are in perfect health. So, I don't really think the label matters.

    @saintbernadette: I know what you mean - on the one hand S and C DO seem to help people look far cuter in almost every case BUT I absolutely hate that we're all expected to be preppyish clones. If someone wants to wear t-shirts and tie-dye who's to say that's not style in its own way!?
