By a margin of 5 to 3, both men and women stated that they were against ladies "parading in shorts," and came down even more harshly on the idea of men sporting them to work. Indeed, 8 out of 10 men declared they would not wear shorts under any circumstances. Given the tepid reception afforded this season's short suits, perhaps we haven't come as far as we think.
