When she talked about making a tape of dance tracks, I thought she meant that she was doing a cover album of dance music. After rereading it, i realized she just made a mix tape. Is it bad that I'm a little bummed? I really wanted to hear Stevie sing "Single Ladies."

here I go again, defending my botox... I love stevie so she gets a pass, but, like ANYTHING, moderation has it's merits, and if you don't put a gazillion units into your face, botox just makes you look refreshed... dare I say it, I looked angry all th time when i didn't use it, so there, bash away and call me satan if you like, I go by many names after all...

@bebedamour: I agree that Botox done right is fine. We see the overdone chronic users and it's freaky. I know people who look quite good with it and do not look like the Joker.

@bebedamour: If you keep doing it long term, though , you will lose muscle definition in your face and it will look weird. Look at Joan Rivers. You can't trell me the best plastic surgeons are injecting her--or Kathie Lee Gifford, who goes to pat Wexler for hers, the best of the best--and they both look like FREAKS!!! My totally naturally aging 72 years old mother in law looks fantastic, and she's had nothing done. Refreshed? Read a good book. Go for a run. Have some good sex. That's MY way of looking "refreshed".
Besides, a woman with character and smarts generally doesn't look "refreshed". She looks strong and smart.
That's always sexy. Madeleine Albright was on Jon Stewart the other night and she was sexy as hell. Now Nancy Pelosi--ugh.

@fouralarmfirepants: i completely agree that one can go overboard, and as far as long term is concerned, I do many many things to stay healthy both physically and mentally, so if there are a few questionable activities in my repertoire, then, so be it... I didn't like the crevasse between my lovely eyes. "Please allow me to introduce myself, I'm a (wo)man of wealth and taste..."

haha, i have the exact same mad/sad line just above my brows, between my eyes, and every now and then i gently pull the skin to the side to see how i'd look with the skin there smooth. it makes me look much less angry! i haven't done anything yet to it, but i think one day in the future i'll finally give it and see what it would make me look like.

I can't have even a glass of wine in front of my dad but my brothers (one older, one younger, both over 21) can have beer. He saw a picture of me with a beer once and called me a drunk. It drives me crazy so now I do it on purpose. (take that, dad!)

@KiddyKat: That's messed up! Beer has a lower alcohol content than wine anyway. My friends and I all do beer promotions, I guess your dad would think we are a bunch of loose women but in reality we're just college students trying to make some extra cash. It just strikes me as a very old fashioned attitude because most men I know think you're acting prissy if you won't drink beer...

@Birthday Girl: Yeaaaahhh...my dad also pretty much thinks any woman who has sex before marriage is a slut (though in fairness to him, he basically considers any man who sleeps around just as bad. Although mostly it's because he's "ruining" women. He once asked my brother why he'd even bother dating a non-virgin). So my dad's opinions on slut-dom are not to be taken seriously.

Well the $2,400 I spent on botox injections in my temporalis muscles (sides of your head) was indeed beautiful.

My searing aching head felt better for a whole month and a half.

I then walked around smiling a lot more and was thus more beautiful and happy.
