The whole Travis and Shanna thing confuses me. I admit to not knowing much about them as a couple, other than that they're divorced and always on again off again. But I rememebr after his accident and he started to recover, reading that she had been by his side throughout the whole ordeal and wad distraught at the thought of losing him. Then I read an interview with him a week or so later when he was totally dogging her out and saying he didn't care if she'd spent every night there, she was a ho and a skeez and he was totally done with her forever. Then I heard they were back on.

I dunno, despite whatever she did in the past seems to me like he would've been a little grateful to her for being so supportive of him while he was recovering and mourning the loss of his friends. Not to mention the fact that they have kids together and talking about her so disrespectfully is not cool.

I don't know where I was going with that. I'm just surprised she stuck with him after he said those things. I wish I could find that article.

I met Jay-Z once. I was at a work function, he was at the Knicks game. But man alive did that fellow smell amazing. He also had the softest hands, and was really, really nice. Pretty much everyone I know refers to him as "Your boy Hov" when talking about him to me. Because I really am terribly fond of him.

@Mkp-hearts-NYCommenting: I stayed with my great grandmother during summers, and this was our routine, too! Achingly sweet tea, a cheese ball, and CBS soaps turned up way too loud. I miss those days! (though I'm lucky to have a job that lets me watch the Young and the Restless - if they cancel that one, there will be much rending of garments in the 101 household.)
