    @oh.geez.: I know men like that too, but to puzzling thing is that these ads are directed at women (see the ad copy - they're not urging men to go to the mall with their ugly female friend). That's why it's so jarring - why do they think this will make WOMEN buy stuff?

    it makes me think of those posts where people were randomly photographed by getty and then their pictures were used. could you imagine if that happened, and you walked by a billboard where you were the "ugly friend?!"


    p.s. these women look fine. they look like the types i would drink real drinks with, because they are smiling and look like they are fun. we would sit in a corner and make fun of the hipsters with their bacardi breezers.
