@bitingfairy needs a job: I had a birthday a few days ago that was kind of a downer - I spent it traveling for work with a colleague I don't exactly love (imagine a corporate, Muggle version of Hermione), and thinking about the meaning of Michael Jackson's abbreviated life and career. (MJ was definitely a wizard - whether more of the Dumbledore or Voldemort persuasion, I leave it to posterity to determine.)

Man, I would have loved for some friendly owl to swing by and drop a nice Broomstick Servicing Kit in my lap. I'll still take a belated delivery, if she's got any extras!

@KiddyKat: The first time my BF saw our friend's newborn baby he said "he looks just like Hadley!" (our cat). I think the parents were a little offended, but it was true, he totally had the same face as our kitty!
