While it is refreshing to see you covered up, you really shouldn't be wearing that a top hat and tails unless you're riding at very high levels of dressage. Which I'm going to go ahead and say, I doubt. Shocker that you're in it for the image and not the sport itself. That, and you'd surely give yourself two black eyes if you attempted a sitting trot.

I know a lot of people get "sick" of her story, the way I did about say, Britney's, but Amy is a real talent and I am just deeply saddened by her ordeal.

If you spent a fraction of the time you devote to telling the press who concerned you are for Amy, actually BEING CONCERNED about Amy and getting her some help, maybe your golden goose could actually have some health and happiness while she's paying your bills.

That being said, I've never understood why some people find it more comforting to think that there's somebody/thing that is controlling us in these situations. I had already lost my belief in God before I lost someone very close to me, but the last comfort in the world is that it's part of "God's plan." Eff that; I'd much rather think that horrible things just happen than that there's a being dictating them.

But I, too, actually take comfort in that I don't believe in any higher power dictating the events that happen to me. There's a difference between causality and fate. If something bad happened to me tomorrow, and someone tried to comfort me by telling me "it happened for a reason", I wouldn't be able to derive any comfort from that. I'd rather believe that bad things happen just because this universe is unpredictable and chaotic, rather than that something out there is trying to teach me a lesson.
That said, I'm glad Ms. Hudson IS able to derive comfort in her own way. Everyone has the right to find their own meaning.

Yeah, good point. But just b/c you provide a disclaimer doesn't mean you can be disrespectful and dismissive to someone's religious outlook.
