    When I hear "Sidwell Friends School" I end up having this weird conflation of Stan Sitwell and the Milford School, and I start picturing Malia and Sasha learning how to sneak around covertly like Buster.

    (I make this Arrested Development reference to distract myself from the rage. Who the fuck protests a couple of elementary school kids? What do they anticipate getting out of that?)

    Even if Daw Aung San Suu Kyi is released before the elections, she's forbidden from running for or holding office, due to a line in the Constitution that forbids people who have children with foreign nationals from holding public office. Her husband is British. And yes, that line is in there specifically to exclude her.

    @Leucadia: That is what I was wondering - does dense mean lumpy? Because when seeing my gyno for the first time, while giving me my breast exam he mentions that I have rather lumpy breasts. Umm...thanks? I guess it is good to know so I don't confuse the normal state for potential dangerous bumps, but he could have maybe phrased it nicer. #sex

    The Westboto Baptist fools came to Rutgers last month and protested a Jewish student center and the University in general, displaying such intellectual signs as "Fag University". I really thought it would descend into chaos with all the different counter-protest groups there, but the students turned their backs on the Westboro group and had a very peaceful, positive, pro-Rutgers protest instead. I was actually really proud of my alma mater for being able to do that and not buy into the hate. #sex

    @Mary McCarthyite: It was an anti-NJ tour (I'm serious, you can look it up in news sources or on the group's web site), and they specifically targeted Rutgers Hillel. They also protested a few area high schools and at least one other Jewish group. #sex
