I like how Camille's dress looks like polka dots at first glance, but then you realize the pattern is fruity silhouettes. Adorable. I would like to see a classic black patent slingback instead..
Honestly? I think everyone except Audra Macdonald looks a hot mess. Fine, I'll give Lauren Velez a pass too but mostly because she herself looks glowy and marvelous despite the ill-fitting pantsuit.
Also, it's been a while since I've picked up a Jet magazine but who the hell are these women?? Not that I necessarily blame them for their underexposure, but a few clues in the captions would be useful.
Hmm. Monique Coleman... Separates, and I disapprove, for some reason I can't put my finger upon. Also, it looks like a spaghetti strap tank, but the straps kept falling because they were too long... so she chopped them off.
Also also... With the exception of Karimah Westbrook (belt and all - I love it)... "meh." Even over the top princess-swan = meh. And Nautica De La Cruz = "Mom made me pick this prom dress, she said 'No daughter of mine is going to look like a tramp in a dress I'M paying for, in pictures I'M paying for!'; I hate her."
I don't think I've ever seen a more BEAUTIFUL red carpet. Rarely can a woman still look stunning in a crappy gown, but even those who WEREN'T wearing the best outfits were gorgeous.
I'm most envious of the fact that the always gorgeous Kate is in a strapless (adorable) dress and flip flops when I am wearing tights under leggings under jeans and 2 sweaters to keep my body heat contained.
Haven't seen Private Practice, and Grey's Anatomy is getting ridiculous. The best thing Kate Walsh has contributed to my life is her hair color. Ever since her show came on the air, I rushed right down to my stylist and said, "Give me the Addison!". I loves it!
Whoever that guy in the background is, I'm absolutely positive my boyfriend has his t-shirt.
I am also salivating over the dress and sunglasses, especially as, for the first time in living memory, my house (near London) is completely buried in snow and I'm kind of craving sun after four days of the cold, icy white stuff.
@Glitterbug: It's mostly melted here in Sussex but because nobody shoveled or salted (because England isn't from where I'm from where we do that sort of thing) it's made a fabulous sheet of ice all over everything. The stairs are especially fun.
I find Private Practice incredibly ridiculous and formulaic but I admit that I return every week because I adore Kate Walsh. Might I suggest that she return to Grey's Anatomy thereby killing two birds with one stone? Ending the misery of PP and restoring Grey's to its former glory?
@EkaterinaBallerina: There is no saving Grey's. We tried everything, and I'm afraid it's terminal. All we can do now is make it comfortable and wait for the end, whenever that may be.
@AuntieBee: Maybe I'm just a little slow on the uptake... but what the hell was going on with Izzy and Denny in the last episode??? Ok, I get that she's supposed to be schizo or whatever they call it these days, but that was beyond weird.
@kamikazee05: She's supposed to have a brain tumor/aneurysm or something, but they are stretching this story line out waaaay too much. Heigl's character hasn't been interesting in a long time. If they're gonna kill her off, they need to just do it already.
I'd like some more of Christina and studly ginger doctor, please.
