    Can: Become men.

    Cannot: Become men and then be referred to such. If I had a quarter for every time someone was like 'Thomas Beatie isn't a man, he's a woman because he still has a uterus, duh!' I could buy myself a really nice meal.


    Also,

    American women cannot smoke weed because it makes you hungry, and if you eat, you will become fat. And American women cannot be fat.

    Can't: get there as easily as an equally qualified guy


    Can: work with a staff of all men

    Can't: expect them to invite you to hang out with them (right, Peggy Olson?)


    Can: remain feminine while holding power

    Can't: find anyone to go shopping with after acquiring power


    Can: become rich, famous and a philanthropist

    Can't: expect people to cut you slack about your appearance

    @MediocreFred: Well, in all fairness, if you're a woman who lives alone then you're in no danger from domestic violence (unless it is perpetrated by your cats). That domestic violence is more prevalent doesn't mean women shouldn't be aware of the possibility of violence in other circumstances. Being less likely, macro statistically, to suffer stranger violence doesn't mean you won't.
