Back to normal tomorrow. It's always a pleasure hanging with you kids for the day and I appreciate all the support: positive, negative, otherwise. So let's wrap this up nicely.

Dr. Laura Schlessinger, who dropped the N-Word 11 times on the radio last week (audio here), just pompously announced on Larry King Live that she's quitting her radio show to "regain [her] First Amendment rights." Inside, video of Schlessinger's announcement.

Hey you! Yeah, you — the one not doing any work. Since you're already spending so much time on Facebook, why not make some new friends? Specifically, we mean with our posse.

In our line of work, we pride ourselves on breaking rules that need to be broken. But there's one rule we abide by, and that's in regards to your emails: They're on-record, unless explicitly stated otherwise from the get-go. Exciting!

At 4'11", aged 14 years, coming from Chicago('s environs), we have: Tavi Gevinson! She writes songs about Alber Elbaz. She strikes fear into the hearts of editors like Anne Slowey. And all week, she'll be writing for us.

Procrastinating is awesome. In part, it's what keeps you coming back to this here website. But what about when a blog isn't enough?

We know how it is: You're busy. You've got a life, a job, stuff to do. Reading everything out there is time-consuming. But sometimes it's a lot easier to stay in the loop going at the speed of 140 characters.

Spam: It's is a fact of email life. Viagra, Nigerian princes, scary virus links — you've seen them all. But wouldn't be nice, for a change, if that Spam came from your favorite blog? Well, good news.

Are you on Facebook? Probably. Maybe you're there because that's just one does. Or maybe you're there because you're into interacting with people. Because you love your friends. But what about us? We need love too, you know.

We know we crank out tons of content every day. It's our job! But we also know that a lot of people can only check in around here intermittently, and sometimes it's hard to keep up with our best stuff.
