    I just don't think taking Adderall is the best idea unless you have a clinical reason. I read an article in the New Yorker about it and other "neuroenhancers," and I don't know that there are any terrible side effects, but it seems like a bad habit to get into.


    This is the girl who is on Zoloft, so I'm not opposed to meds at all. But taking it to "get more stuff done" seems specious. Can anyone who takes it for non-ADHD reasons give me their perspective? I had a friend who took it for a bit and he didn't like how he made him feel, so he stopped eventually.

    i love marlee matlin, she's so fucking cute and talented and has managed to be the only successful deaf actor i can think of for like 20 years. and i think it's pretty cool that she hasn't been typecast as "the mom" because that seems to happen a lot with actresses her age, she should embrace it :O)

    The Miss Universe Organization sent a cease and desist letter to the National Organization for Marriage because NOM used footage from the Miss USA 2009 pageant in their anti-gay marriage commercial.


    I also would like to send a cease & desist letter to NOM for their misleading & falsifying use of footage from reality in their anti-gay marriage commercial.

    I used to take adderall in HS. It's horrible and basically speed. Adderall actually gives you killer headaches when you stop taking it.

    @Jackiewsu: It's impact is different for everyone, especially those who actually have ADHD (I'm assuming you don't?).


    That said, it would give me insane neck cramps and I did a whole lot of teeth grinding. But, any Rx I have taken had side effects, even the ones I needed.
