Ergo, Andre Benjamin and Kanye are totally gay together and it's just a matter of time before the media finds out via MACBOOKAIR and elaborately produced music video.
Stirrup leggings to me will forever = 6th grade. Also 6th grade for me - GIANT colorful plastic frames for my glasses. We're talking so big they sold little gold initals you could actually stick on the corner of the LENSES. Yes, there was room on those mo-fos for writing - and you could still see.
For those who actually lived as an adult through the 80's and had to dress in those awful stirrups (though rebel me refused valliantly), do NOT bring them back. They were fashion-challenged then, and they are fashion-deviant now.
And BTW, the stirrup part was never supposed to show. The original intent of the stirrup was to hold leggings down inside your scrunchy socks and granny boots.
"Perhaps in response, the company's latest ad bears the weirdly earnest, "American Apparel is ... Jobs." As AdRants describes it, "this crucial message is illustrated by a muscly bald dude who appears to be in the stock room" rather than some barely-legal porn spread."
Try this: Picture the stock worker as female, but not all porned out. Maybe 20 lbs heavier than the average AA model. wearing jeans and a t shirt and sneakers. 30 years old.
CRAAAZZZY. It would never, ever happen, and i don't think HAS happened in fashion advertising history.
In the picture, Katie is wearing black stirrups, a bright orange high-waisted skirt, a hot pink top, and black and purple clunky heels. My retinas, they burn.
You know you spend too much time on the Internet when you look at a picture of Aretha Franklin actually wearing the Aretha Franklin Hat, and think, "They did a good job of Photoshopping that hat onto Aretha."
For whom? I know a former employee of the company and it's an absolutely terrible place to work. They might treat the workers who make the clothes wonderfully, but they treat the people who sell it like shit.
EFF that Eva Longoria Ad. It's like that one where she's featured alongside Tony only to hold up her wedding ring and brag about it. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Is Eva Longoria not capable of promotions that don't revolve around her being the bitchy wife of a famous athlete?
@vamusical: I was studying abroad in Italy this summer, and there were eva longoria ads EVERYWHERE for some kind of chocolate bar. the text was something like "and isn't this the true temptation?" well, at least Tony wasn't in them...

Fonda: How do you feel about Roe v Wade?
Starlet: Oh, I don't believe in boxing.
Also, how original can you claim an idea is when it's about "unconventional fiancee and future MIL clash"?
