    I like Malan's dress the best. That looks like her style but shinier.


    Maybe it wouldn't have to be navy blue, though. It would be really nice in that leanne blue maybe.

    @exelizabeth: Actually I don't really think that's the case. Michael Knight's is a black woman and judging by the light crayoning, many of the other sketches are women of color, too. It just doesn't seem that way because they are so highly stylized.

    OH I just remembered what a huge ladyboner I have for Mychael. I am in Africa right now and I have had about 16 different women ask me where Michelle Obama shops. I told them J.Crew. I bet they ship internationally, right?

    Damn, I love those kimonos, but the sizing on them is ridiculous. Seriously, they all involve hips two to four inches bigger than bust, which is seriously unhelpful for the massively chested among us!

    At the innaguration, every member of the cabinet should dress according to his/her appointment. Defense should wear army fatigues, Treasury should wear that money suit with dollar sign glasses that the crazy guy in the FREE MONEY FROM THE GOVERNMENT commercials wears, Attorney General should dress like a caricature of an attorney and carry a gavel, Health and Human Services in a doctor outfit, Education a knit sweater with a big apple on the front, etc.

    does michelle obama do strapless gowns? i don't think i've seen her in anything strapless - ever. that said, as lovely as leanne's project runway dress is, strapless won't work. leanne's sketch works better, as does rami's gold dress or malan's navy gown.

    The chevron-y McCarroll designs are a little bit...traffic-signal-esque, right?


    Or they look like fabric made out of those things in MarioKart that make you go faster.

    That blue Malan dress is practically MADE for Mrs. Obama's gorgeous shoulders and clean cut frame.


    Whatever she wears she will make jaws drop for sure. Maybe she should dress like Gwenivere to add fuel to the "Camelot" craze...Obama could wear an ermine cap and crown and carry a glowing sword...
