I sympathize with this man, I really do.

I mean, sure, men were allowed to vote in 1920 and access higher education only in the past century, but you don't see a lot of male CEOs of Fortune 500 companies, and they still get paid in average 15% less than women. I could go on and on, about the inequalities that men face, on the topics of mortality rate, access to healthcare, and violence that they face. AND ON TOP OF THAT: NO FLOPPY SUN HAT???? This is B.S.!

Have any of you every worked one of these giveaways? People will try to take anything that's free. I've given out giftbags after events (bags that include an Elle magazine, Dior makeup, facecream, etc.) and our policy is always one per couple. To make it easier we give it to the lady, since she's the one who's going to be using it. Some of the whiny dudes just kill me. Granted many of them are drunk as it's the end of the event, but it does not excuse being called a bitch or worse just because I won't give a dude some eye shadow.

But would we be saying the same things if it was a woman sueing over a prostate cancer awareness giveaway glove that only men got?(I'd like to think we would.)
Yeah, it's only cheap baseball stuff, but would we? I mean, there are plenty of assholes of all genders out there.

Also, the only baseball-related prostate cancer awareness thing i ever hear about is when the Milwaukee Brewers have their yearly event that gives free tickets to men willing to undergo a screening on-site. And that is usually more a subject of discomforted ridicule than anything else.

But still... He's an over-educated shithead.

@D'Amicos one good year: I think it would be like a prostrate screening day that was giving away free jock straps. No, I would not want anyone to sue. I don't have the right to free stuff, and I don't feel the need to get outraged about an event that is targeting a specific male disease.

@D'Amicos one good year: If it was a Fathers' Day promotion and they were giving out caps only to men, I doubt many people would take issue with it. It was a giveaway to celebrate a holiday that is specifically for women and to bring attention to breast cancer, largely a women's disease..

He showed up at the game just so he could claim discrimination and sue. Gee. I think he should give that settlement back and also give back his law degree and apologize to his alma mater for taking the place of someone who would be using that degree for good and not bullshit. And the A's should do like they did in A League of Their Own, where they threw balls at a likeness of Hitler, only instead of Hitler it will be this guy's face.
