@TheJerseyDevil: Considering he had to allow his genitals to be photographed for his first molestation case (the one that settled out of court), it is hard to imagine that anything odd about his body would have remained secret.
I didn't watch the Farrah Fawcett special, but I thought it was more about raising awareness of a lesser-known kind of cancer and less about how she came up with it. Shaming Fawcett for not advertising the HPV vaccine was not necessary, and comes off (in my opinion) as disrespectful.
@scandalouskiki: Agreed - but a large point of her documentary is that there is not a lot of research about anal cancer and so essentially it's a lot of trial and error when it comes to treatments. I had NO IDEA that HPV vaccine could prevent it. None. I do wish it was perhaps done via voice-over for our own education...but I'm not blaming Farrah for that. I mean, that's ridiculous.
@JinxyMcDeath: I had no idea about that either. It's good to know it now (and it could have been added in by the producers of the documentary or soemthing) but like you said, it's ridiculous to blame Farrah herself for not sharing the information.
The most upsetting news of all? The Boosh! Splitting! Noooooooooooooooooooo. It can't be true. I won't believe it until I hear it from Mr. Moon's mouth.
I feel like the last thing that those children deserve is to be near Joe Jackson. Since Michael's death all I can seem to think is that his tragic demise was due mostly to the pressure and treatment he endured at teh hands of his father as a child. Please give those kids to Janet who seems to understand that keeping a good distance from her father has made her healthier.
@Ramseylicious: That's what's been said, but the children look unmistakeably 100% Caucasian. Not mixed-race, not light-skinned--they are white. Michael Jackson and his family are fairly dark-skinned--there's no way his biological child could be as white as these kids.
Still, doesn't matter. For better or for worse, they're his.
@Ramseylicious: I know people come in a variety of shades--my father is dark-skinned and I'm blonde and blue-eyed--but these kids don't look even remotely bi-racial, IMO, and especially not like the Jackson family.
@Ramseylicious: A commenter on ONTD had pictures of Prince Michael and Michael up side by side (same age) and they did look quite a lot alike. Until someone proves it false, I'll believe their his. Like I'll believe that Prince Harry is Charles' son.
@Ramseylicious: We know bi-racial people come in a variety of shades, but the probability that someone with MJ's natural phenotype would produce so many light children is just out of this world.
I mean, one maybe. Three? That's a sperm donor. Or some sort of genetic engineering technology not known to man as of yet.
Well, MJ, himself, is pretty out of this world. But, okay, fine, maybe they're not ALL his biological children, but I stand by thinking that Prince Michael I is. But after the Macauley Culkin mention, I'm totally going with him as the biological father of Paris and Prince Michael II.
"Richard Dreyfuss has devoted himself to the revival of civics education in schools, as he believes its necessary for children to learn the importance of getting involved."
Gave me such a big fat smile.
Please help experienced Jezzies! How do I make things I want to quote in those neat-o italix?
I would give Debbie Rowe those kids instead of Katherine Jackson and the Jackson family any day of the week.
That family will be all over those kids to give them money from the estate (just like they were with Michael) and Joe Jackson is still in the picture (and we see what a horrible job he did with his own child) and Katherine Jackson is 79 years old!
I would choose a distant, somewhat unstable, probably money-grubbing birth mother instead. The kids will probably be messed up but maybe they won't be fucked up!
@Scout 3.0: My concern is that Debbie is only (as far as we know) the bio mom to Prince Michael I and Paris. Prince Micheal II/Blanket doesn't have a known bio mom. At least where I live, that means Rowe would only have claim to PM I and Paris and wouldn't be able to take Blanket. I think at this point, splitting the kids up is a really bad idea. Losing your parent is bad enough; to be taken away from your brother and sister would only make things worse.
@Ramseylicious: He did have a will. Some of the gossip sites have details of what it says - you can google it if you want to know.
But the point is that you can't leave your kids to someone in a will - especially not if they have a living parent. A will is meaningless in this custody battle.
@CubeRootOfPi: I have seen documentaries about Tito and Jermaine, as well as watching them on reality shows and they come across as unfailing polite and down to earth. I have also heard from countless people that MJ was very polite and charming in private as indeed, apparently, are his children. Farrah Fawcett's child and Ryan O'Neal's child both went spectacularly off the rails in their youth and Tatum's downfall started when she was around the same age as MJ's eldest. Yet I have not heard people condemning Farrah as a bad mother and saying how her son will be better off now that she is dead.
So I have a question regarding Farrah Fawcett: Mr Ruthless was at work yesterday and the water cooler chat was about the crazy celeb death day that was Thursday. One of his coworkers said something to the effect that MJ stole FF's death-thunder, and then several of his co-workers were saying that FF was somehow un-American/unpatriotic/otherwise a terrible person. Seeing as how these people are his bosses, Mr. Ruthless smiled and nodded, but when he came home, he asked me what she had done that would be controversial. I had no idea, and I googled variants of "Farrah Fawcett + controversy" "+protest" "+Vietnam" (thinking perhaps she had been involved with Jane Fonda?) etc., and the only controversy I could find was that she had posed for Playboy, which is hardly un-American, amiright?
So, Jezzies with conservative backgrounds/friends/whatever: do Mr. Ruthless's coworkers know something that isn't google-able, or do they have her confused with someone else (again, I'm thinking Jane Fonda for some reason)?
@babyruthless: Maybe it has something to do with not marrying Ryan O'Neal and having a child out of wedlock (who grew up to be an addict)? Or maybe it is just a Hollywood= pinko commie kneejerk reaction?
@babyruthless: She was a genuinely cool chick. Lee Majors and Ryan O'Neal were BFF's once upon a time. Appearently ahe and Ryan did the dirty and ran away together under Lee Major's eye. I don't have a real opinion on it one way or the other, but... a lot of people did. Sort of like Liz Taylor & Eddie Fisher.
I spent Friday (I live in the future) looking at MJ videos on youtube and TV. I hadn't seen many of them before. Others I hadn't seen in their entirety. The panther-to-MJ transformation and street dancing at the end of Black Or White? No idea it existed!
It also made me despair about the quality of music videos today.
@AthertonMerriweather: Don't forget "The Way You Make Me Feel" when all the male dancers humped the street. I was totally scandalized by that part of the video.
@A_Gracious_Plenty: MJ did give her away in her marriage to David Guest, so she probably is still harboring a grudge. A real friend would have swooped down in his diamond-encrusted helicopter and whisked Liza away to a desert island until she came to her senses. Or landed on the groom. Either way, she is right to be bitter.
Alessandra Stanley's timing is way off. And Farrah didn't need to make a public point about how she contracted the cancer if she didn't want to, in my opinion.
@legirl, @alwaysapropos: I'd actually heard that Farrah contracted hers through some sort of skin cancer, so evidently she did discuss it.
And also she had made a big effort in her final months to raise awareness about what she was going through, so it's not like she was trying to be private about it or anything.
It's just kind of a big piece of information to omit if you are trying to make people more informed about a topic, is all.

When I read that, the first thing I thought is that I sort of hope HBO gives them a reality show.

I want Auntie Janet and Uncle Jermaine to get the kids.

I have no idea if this is true, but I think that Janet was the closest to Michael out of all of the Jackson kids.
However, I do wonder why the hell Michael Jackson didn't have a will.
06/27/09
Once they are around 7, the kids can get internships and begin their work to save DefJam from what is otherwise near-certain artistic demise.

Yes! Prince Michael I and Paris can start on Monday. I smell a tribute song with little P&P singing the hook.
