I don't know, I think Mark Dacascos has a good shot on the show. I'm pretty sure he has martial arts training, and I'd think that would help give him a leg up, as it were, in dance as well.

Also, am I the only one who remembers when he was on the TV series version of The Crow? Anyone else? And Brotherhood of the Wolf, mm.

@Eleanor Ramilly: It doesn't have to be that way. Your life does change and you see things differently because you're in charge of another person's well being and that's intense, but you don't have to lose yourself. It takes time to find that balance and it's easy to just chalk up unhappiness to being part of the before and after thing when it's really something you can change.

It makes me mad to see moms talk about not being the same person because I think it sets up this expectation that we should be totally different people. I'm not. I can't always put myself first, but that doesn't mean I'm not first sometimes.

Does the fact that they are filming more scenes for "Homes" bother anyone else? Because isn't that what they do for bad movies? (reshoot, reshoot, reshoot)

That Bob Dylan story creeps me out. Who cares if the cops didn't recognize him? What bothers me is that he was taking a walk, doing nothing illegal and the cops stopped him and demanded to see his ID. When he didn't have ID, they took him back to his hotel and his tour staff had to vouch for him.

True story: When I was in 8th grade, my brother decided he NEEDED to throw a Halloween party. We had a cheapo smoke machine that one of his friends decided was the coolest thing ever. Said friend spent the entire party setting off the smoke machine just to watch the smoke (I wish I could say we were high, but we were not). We had 13 foot high vaulted ceilings and at one point, you couldn't actually see because the smoke was so thick. I am not even exaggerating. Everyone who was at the party had a cough for about a week afterward from inhalation.

What I'm saying here (in a round about sort of way) is, Mark Wahlberg, I feel ya, but how much and what kind of smoke were you using that you had to be hospitalized? I mean, I spent 30 minutes in the smoke house of horrors and I was just coughing up fluid for a few days after. I don't want to call you a wuss, but well...

Throwing your back out is horribly painful. During college, I threw my back out while living alone. I was incapacitated and spent a day in the hospital and a week in bed recovering. I had to call on people I barely knew to help me to the bathroom and make me food. It was, needless to say, humbling.

@ALittleBitGothic2.0: It's terrible. I haven't done it in several years, but when I had, before I had a kid, it was completely incapacitating. I have been maniacally protective of my back since I had him, because it would be impossible to function if I threw it out now.

@ALittleBitGothic2.0: I threw mine out in college too. Not as bad as you did (more in the Lily Allen school of things I guess), because I could walk and move, but it hurt so bad. I ended up sitting on the floor of my classes because the only way I was comfortable (and by "comfortable" I of course mean "functional") was if I could have my back straight up against a wall with my knees bent.

@ALittleBitGothic2.0: I pulled my back out last winter, living alone and it was NOT fun. Not to mention that I had to take my GRE with a Bengay patch and pumped full of Vicodin - GRE exams are excruciating enough, but this was a little slice of hell.

George Clooney plans to sue a photographer who climbed over the wall of his Lake Como home and took pictures of a 13-year-old girl changing in a guest room, as well as snaps of Clooney and gf Elisabetta Canalis. Cloons says: "I don't know about the law in the United States, but in Italy it's illegal for photographers to climb over my wall."

Are you fucking kidding me? How is snapping pictures like that of a minor legal (and without knowing, no less...meta-asshole).

MAYBE the pap who did it thought she was legal (not that this makes it okay), and if he snapped away without giving a shit...Jesus Christ, who ARE these people? Please tell me the dick can be charged with something additional (other than the charges Clooney is bringing--hope he wins) for snapping photos of that nature of a MINOR.

What was he going to do---publish them? Are the child porn/privacy charges in Italy worthless? Was he going to use them for his personal use or something?

How else would anyone other than him know he snapped photos of a 13 year-old (unless she was staying in the same house as Clooney/Canalis)? Did a witness watch him peeping on that poor kid?
