    I've worked for many elections in Canada. The story that sticks out most in my head was a couple that JUST got their Canadian citizenship the day before and they ran in waving their certificate saying I CAN VOTE TODAY with huge smiles on their face. They were excited to be a part of the process. It's rather enlightening.

    @MarissaExplainsItAll: probably beside the point, but those aren't burqas. they are headscarves (although i don't know the technical name for it... hijab, i think)

    .... ugh, the bottom of the image got cut off! Niqab & Burqa are full-length, and Hijab is just around the neck.
