As I believe I've already posted here, when my nine year old son said "Don't you have to be older than 18 to have a baby?", I not only gave him the "when-your-body-is-old-enough-to-have-sex..." talk, I also gave him the "always-wear-a-condom" talk, finishing up with the "and-if-you-get-a-girl-pregnant-it's-goin..." talk.
And he cracked up! As a nine year old should. But he already has in his head the notion that a baby is the responsibility of the person who supplied the semen, too. And by me, that's a good thing.

Mother says to boy: "When your body is old enough to have sex, it's old enough to make a baby."
Then: "Always wear condoms."
Finally: "And if you get a girl pregnant it's going to make school hard for you too, because I'll be walking you over to her house to take care of the baby."
There, will the goddesses of the intertubes accept my talkie-talk in this form?

I'm not a big fan of this advert (especially all the vomit going into her mouth), but I wouldn't be surprised if there was a companion version aimed at men.

But, I agree with a lot of the comments, as much as it sucks us ladies get all of the crap and none of the glory.

I'm surprised they haven't made an advert with Eve turning the apple into cider to really hammer home the point...
