<![CDATA[A PSA On Marijuana, Courtesy Of Strangers With Candy]]> Strangers with Candy's Jerri Blank (Amy Sedaris) is always full of twisted wisdom and words to live by, but in the clip above, it's actually her teacher Mr. Jellineck (Paul Dinello) who passes on the words of wisdom. "All I'm saying is if you wanna smoke pot, then be prepared to spend a lot of time laughing with your friends," he says. We agree! Happy 420 ladies, and see you on Sunday.

<![CDATA[ "Feminine smokers of London, England, are...]]> "Feminine smokers of London, England, are adopting a dainty little pipe," reads this article from the 1934 issue of Modern Mechanix. "Cigarette tobacco is crumpled in the tiny bowl and lit in the approved masculine fashion." Uh, "approved masculine fashion"??? What is that, with a grunt and a match struck on your own chest-nest? The short piece ends with "The pipes are scarcely heavier than the average cigarette holder." Because you know, girls don't have the muscle mass to hold heavy pipes. Also, we think Miss Helen Konicke, pictured, might be smoking something funny — she's way too happy! (Click picture for a full-sized view.) [Modern Mechanix]

<![CDATA[Dear Paris Hilton And 2 Out Of 3 Ex-Boyfriends: Pot Makes You Psycho]]> A new study says marijuana may increase the risk of psychosis by 40%, reports CNN. The researchers claim they couldn't prove that it's the pot that causes psychosis (a category of several disorders, including schizophrenia); it could be that there's something special about stoners, "like their tendency to use other drugs or certain personality traits, that could be causing the psychoses," one doctor explained. But it is biologically possible that weed is the cause, since it affects dopamine. (Haha, 'dope'!) So yeah. "Experts are now agreed on the connection between cannabis and psychoses," says the doc. Well, our ex-boyfriends are on their own, but we worry about Paris. Could this explain why she was decompensating in jail? (By the way, we wanted this post to go up exactly at 4:20, but we were so baked we forgot.)
