    Michelle looks a little older here, which I'm not saying in a snarky, ageist way. It's more like there's a certain maturity I see in her eyes that I didn't notice before. Whatever it is, it's very, very becoming on her. I think she's always seemed wise beyond her years.


    The brooch is indeed droolicious, of course.

    Is it bad that Rosemarie Dewitt's character on "Mad Men," Midge (one of Don's many mistresses) is probably my favorite on the show? She's so rad, and she looks totally gorgeous here.

    OK, is it just the hair or what? Rachel Weisz just looks different than she did in "The Mummy". I can't explain why, though.


    I like Evan Rachel Woods' hair that color and think her dress would look better if it hit straight across her knee.

    Also, I'm kind of in awe of The Woman Who Is Not Haaz Sleiman. Every time I scroll up to look at whatever was mentioned by someone in a comment (Penelope's toes?), I get stuck on her and just kind of gaze. The coup de grace is that wide band of teal near the bottom of the dress. So, so much beauty, and then bam! A dash of bright to top it off.


    Finally, I, too, love brooches, and particularly that being rocked by Michelle Williams.

    I seem to be the only one who likes Vanessa Loren's dress. A bit too much midsection showing yes, but I forgive that because I love, love, love the draping/gathers of the skirt -- it looks like there's some sort of drawstring deal going on, is there?
