I feel kinda bad for Lohan. Everyone's ragging on her, it seems, and while I am no fashionista, it doesn't seem like her collection was that bad. Some of it was not very attractive (I don't like bandeau tops alone), but I can easily see people actually wearing it.
I thought #16 was great, especially, but that's not very wearable. #34? That's one I expect to see sometime. Blazer + poofy skirt looks like a fashion trend to me. And I secretly really liked the head hearts. They were kinda fun. I'd never wear one, but that's because I am a fashionless lump that Stacey and Clinton couldn't even fix :D
#8 and #16 are things I would totally wear, because I've got a very short, pixie cut...and the juxtaposition of very short non-girly hair with uber-girly clothes is SO MUCH FUN.
Re: #16 - People are fucking DERANGED. I could slap a whole bunch of people a whole bunch of times, but mostly I want that top. (SORRY! I CAN'T HELP IT! THE FRINGE!)
Gotta say, I like Debbie's choice in shirts. It's gotten awesome reviews on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/The-Mountain-Three-Wolf-T-Shirt/dp/B000NZW3KC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=apparel&qid=1247256320&sr=8-1
Poor Nikki - her addiction overshadowed her own daughter's pain. They begged her to get clean. She went to rehab and left early. Really felt bad for those two young girls.
It made me wonder if that was MJ's problem. He loved his kids but the drugs trump all.
I don't blame the kid who punched the kid that popped out of what looks like a recycling bin. Strange dude popping out going boo usually results in me popping him a good one too. It's why I'm blacklisted from all the haunted houses.
@Penny: really? uh-oh. Although I have to say I have been known to take it during various stressful periods and then stop and not take it for a year or more.
@Penny: My brother was addicted to xanax and he had to detox in the hospital (advisable anyway) because it is so dangerous. It is definitely not a drug to mess around with.
@Penny: Having recently had to visit somebody in rehab, I can tell you that most benzos are no joke. And my doctor practically made me sign a blood oath that I wouldn't drink before he would prescribe me klonopin. Benzos are easy to get addicted to and if you mix them with other stuff, it's easy to accidentally kill yourself.
@Penny: I took a Xanax before going out drinking one night, not realizing that it was a giant no-no. Then I learned that lot's of people do that for fun! I don't really understand why, because I don't remember a damn thing.
@vulcanized: I have a non-refillable prescription for Ativan that my doctor has on such tight lockdown. I get 20 pills and she requires an office visit if I want to get the 'scrip refilled. Too many women rely on "mother's little helpers." My Dr. doesn't want to contribute to that kind of abuse.
