    I'm in love with my bf. Of a short amount of time. As in, I dated a boy (and lived with him) for 4.5 years and didn't feel this way a) so strongly b) so soon. (And yes, I've had rebounds, I've gotten over that whole thing long ago.) I feel like "omg, this is what it's like to date the person you're going to marry."     Anyone ever taken kratom? There was an article in the local alternative paper about legal herbal drugs, and it described kratom as... I don't know, a wonder drug? It's stimulating and focusing in small doses, like Adderall, and a mellowing euphoric, like an opiate, in higher doses. It's legal here, but illegal in some other countries (Australia and Indonesia, off the top of my head); I'm tempted to check it out but a little scared. But the idea of a legal drug that is the equivalent of both adderall and vicodin? Sounds effing AMAZING. Too good to be true? Anyone ever try it? #openthread

    I do find it interesting that this apparently explains why nice boys grow into utter assholes as men. When Ally Sheedy sad, "When you get old, your heart dies" in The Breakfast Club, that line always struck me as off -- beacuse it's a man's line to be said by a boy.
