Surgeon Resigns Over Bad Cum Joke

Dr. Lazar J. Greenfield, president-elect of the American College of Surgeons, has resigned his position after joking about the gift of jizz in an article about the possible mental health benefits of semen. He says his many apologies have been ignored, “Therefore, rather than have this remain a disruptive issue, I resigned as president-elect … I only hope that those who choose to judge me will read the article in the spirit in which it was intended.”

Dr. Colleen Brophy, the Vanderbilt University professor of surgery who resigned from the surgery association during the controversy, said this doesn’t change her decision. “The editorial was just a symptom of a much larger problem,” Dr. Brophy said. “The way the college is set up right now is for the sake of the leadership instead of patients.”
