Once I had nothing to wear to a white party so I made one white T-shirt into an off-the shoulder top, and another into a skirt by cutting off the sleeves and sewing up the armholes. It was fine, for one night, in a pinch. Alas, wearing long-sleeved shirts as skirts? Terribly unflattering, but a real thing, apparently.
