• In case you thought it wasn't enough that seven-year-olds are entering puberty: female infants in China are growing breasts, thanks to the high levels of estrogen found in a certain brand of formula.

The company that makes the baby formula, Synutra, insists that it's not their fault and "no man-made hormones or any illegal substances were added during production of the milk powder." This means the boob-growing hormones are probably coming straight from the udder, and may eventually make their way to the US.

• Health authorities in Thailand are urging women to eschew black leggings because they can attract mosquitoes. "It's worrying how people dress nowadays," said the deputy health minister of the influx of pantsless and possibly dengue-prone women.
• Boys in West Virginia now able to receive the FDA approved just for men version of the HPV vaccine. Kanawha Valley is recommending that all males between the ages of 9 and 26 receive the shot, which prevents against certain warts and cancer-causing strains of the common STD.
• A recent poll found that younger, English-speaking Latinos are far less likely to identify themselves as Catholic than the older, Spanish-speaking generations. The younger groups also tend to be more open about issues like gay marriage and abortion, as compared to their conservative elders.
• Officer Veronica Schultz has filed a sexual harassment suit against the NYPD after her superior officer showed an embarrassing tape of performing at a talent show to 10 fellow cops. The video in question featured a brief glimpse of Schultz's thong underwear, which occurred purely by accident. Schultz also alleges that her boss "looked directly at [her] breasts when talking" and "rubbed up against her."
• Florida smoke shop owners are fighting back against a bill that makes it illegal to make more than 25% of their revenue from the sale of bongs, pipes, or other smoking paraphernalia. They say the law is hurting business, and is totally unfair. Some have even claimed that bongs aren't always used for smoking, and plenty of customers buy them for decoration, which is an excuse that never worked for me.

• A new series on TLC called "Sister Wives" will follow a family of fundamentalist Mormons in Utah as they navigate the tricky waters of polygamy. It's supposed to be something like a real life version of "Big Love" and will air on September 26.
